Adventure Morning Hike/Kayak/Yoga 30 Apr 17 (SOLD OUT)
Always wanted to do a Triathlon….why not try our trio of Hiking, kayaking and yoga. 😛
8.00am Meet at Walk About Creek. After a short briefing, we begin our morning with a warm up 5km hike. When we arrive back it’s time to dump our daypacks, a quick change if necessary and get into our lifejackets. We meet our qualified instructors who will teach us the basics and guide us along to enjoy a relaxing paddle and time to appreciate the bushland with our feet up. We have 30 mins to ourselves to hone our kayaking skills (for future events). With finish with a Yoga stretch whilst our BBQ brekkie is being cooked and ready to enjoy by the river.
What to Wear/Bring
- Start with hiking gear, and same gear for paddling if you are happy for clothes to get wet (ie. shorts and T-shirt)
- Change of clothes
- Closed Footwear for hiking, (that can be left secured whilst we are paddling).
- Hat and sunglasses (optional)
- Water bottle
Includes: 30 minute Kayak Tour/lesson + 30 minute Kayak Hire, 5km hike, 30min yoga, breakfast, tea/coffee, cold water. 8.00am – 12pm
Cost: $50 Adventure Club members, $62 non club members.
