Explore the world heritage listed Tarkine rainforest in style, fully guided tour by locals, we stay at an exclusive purpose built base camp and explore the remote wilderness over 4 days/3 nights carrying only a day pack. The Tarkine is the largest cool temperate rainforest in the southern hemisphere and second in the world. Our accommodation is considered glamping, with floored tents, beds, and a long house to sit by the fire. We enjoy the serenity of a yoga practice by the fire before dinner, whilst our guides prepare local produce accompanied with local Tasmanian wines and beverages. Ex Launceston 6 Nov 17 – meet your fellow companions at the motel, before we head out to dinner (included) in anticipation of our unique 4 day experience. After our experience in the ancient forest we return to Launceston. It is recommended to have Dinner at an award winning restaurant, where we can regale about our achievements and experiences over dinner and some local beverages.(Own cost)
